Should Dhoni leave his retirement to compete in the World Cup?

Team India: Up until this point, it has been unclear to which player Team India will assign the duty of keeping wicket for the ODI World Cup side.

Should MS Dhoni Reconsider His Retirement?

Before choosing the Indian team for the 2019 ODI World Cup, the team selectors would need to find answers to a lot of concerns. The issue with number 4 has been around for a long time. The guy who will play the primary wicketkeeper in the World Cup is a matter of speculation at the moment. The supporters are now clamoring for Dhoni to play international cricket in this circumstance.

In a game of international cricket, Mahendra Singh Dhoni last represented Team India at the 2019 ODI World Cup. After that, he announced his retirement in the month of August 2020.In that World Cup, Dhoni's bat only saw two innings of fifty runs or more. In addition, he has only been spotted playing in the IPL since that time, making it impossible for him to play cricket again for his country internationally.

Everyone's attention is on the selection of the selectors who would serve in this capacity behind the wicket in the next mega event given the injury to Rishabh Pant and the ongoing uncertainty surrounding Lokesh Rahul's fitness. Ishaan Kishan is the only competitor whose name is now in the lead.

Ishaan showed better performance with the bat on West Indies tour.

Ishaan Kishan is leading the race to be included in the upcoming ODI World Cup team as a wicketkeeper. On the tour of West Indies, Ishaan impressed everyone by performing brilliantly with the bat. Ishaan Kishan, who played as an opening batsman, played half-century innings in all the three matches. In such a situation, there is no better option for Team India at this time. In the Asia Cup, the team management will also have a great opportunity to try him in the middle order.
